Secret Garden: Review ☆☆☆☆☆

my synopsis: Secret Garden is a hilarious romantic comedy about Gil Ra Im and Kim Joo Won and how they fall in love, have their souls switched, and discover that their lives are more intertwined than the first thought.

Honestly, I started this drama over a year ago with my older sister. We lost track of which episode we were on but we really loved it. Then, unnie left college and we just stopped watching it all together. When I saw it on netflix, I recalled how much I'd enjoyed the 8 or so episodes I had watched and decided to restart it. WOW~ I'm so glad that I did. I loved rewatching the episodes and then watching until the end. Amazing!!

Storyline: ☆☆☆☆☆
So unique~ The story kept me captivated the entire time, I never tuned out and was actively involved throughout the course of this drama. Everything about it was refreshing to the way the people acted to the main dramatic points. It touched me in a way that I've never been touched before (perhaps because I just broke up with my boyfriend?)

Characters: ☆☆☆☆☆

Perfect. Everything about each character makes them a completely unique person with their own individual characteristics. I love the simple flaws they have that make them all seem like real people and the slight quirkiness of Gil Ra Im(Ha Ji Won). Ra Im is the most lovable drama lead I've seen yet. I feel as though I connected on an entire new level to her and Kim Joo Won (played by one of the most handsome Korean men alive Hyun Bin) as they showed a new love story play out in an unpredictable way. The fact that Ra Im is a poor stunt woman (yes, another poor lead) makes me feel like I'm taking a breath of fresh air. Kim Joo Won reminds me of Lee Min Ho in Boys Over Flowers, a rich spoiled kid who falls in love with a poor girl.

Acting Skills: ☆☆☆☆☆

The whole thing was completely believable and I never had a moment in which I questioned that it wasn't a true story, I just believed the actors and their amazing skills as I sat and cried with them.

Connection: ☆☆☆☆☆

I can safely say that I connected with this drama unlike with any other. I sobbed and felt my heart aching as I watched the characters deliver completely beautiful heart wrenching lines with tears streaming down their faces. I screamed with Gil Ra Im, cried with Seul (played by Kim Sa-rang), and sang with Woo Young (oska, played by Yoon Sang Hyun). This drama is one that every drama fan should watch. 

Couple Chemistry: ☆☆☆☆☆

Nothing so say except it's so freaking adorable and uhhh, he's the sweetest guy ever. THE. PERFECT. MAN. And she's cute and cool and sexy all at once. This couple is so amazing!!!! I loved them together.

Design: ☆☆☆☆☆

Wahh~ This one looked nice, and believable. The rich people's houses look nice and cool and when people traveled it looked realistic and I was in aw by the splendor and realistic aspects of this drama. Money well spent!!
