Personal Taste: Review

I watched Personal Taste a while back and after I watched it, I stopped watching all other Korean Dramas because I thought that I would never like another. I believed that nothing could compare to this drama. Eventually, I decided to give some other dramas a chance, and ended up like those too.
Lee Min Ho is one of my favorite actors, along with Jang Geun Suk. So of course, I knew I would like this drama. I find that dramas in which the girl and the guy hate are opposites at first, hating each other, are often the cutest.

The Story Line: 8/10
Personal Taste's story line involves a girl who doesn't have any money to pay the rent by herself, and since her friend just walked out, she has no idea what to do. Kae In, believing that Jin Ho is gay allows him to stay in the house.

The story line, is given a slightly lower score because it's actually rather dramatic and unbelievable at times. And yes, this is how most Korean Dramas are...but I just can't give it a complete score because of the overly cheesy, very preppy parts.

Characters: 9/10
The characters of this drama are well rounded, and I find that I still really hate the secondary female lead. In this drama, she does the unthinkable and it makes me want to ring her neck.
This category gets a 9 because out of the small amount of characters in this drama only a few of them were memorable.

The Romance/ Couple Chemistry: 10/10
The couple in this drama is plausible and I like how it goes back to the simple thing, a misunderstanding. The reason they meet, a misunderstanding. The reason they fall in love, a misunderstanding. The reason THEY'RE LIVING TOGETHER, a misunderstanding.

Acting Skills: 10/10
As always Lee Min Ho, is an amazing actor who really gets into character. I also like Son Ye Jin's skills as well. She is amazingly gorgeous and I was captivated by the very real actors and actresses in this drama.

Connection: 8/10
I was slightly connected with most of the characters but it wasn't as strong as some of the other connections I've had with other dramas. Of course, this is a personal thing and I can't judge how much other people were connected to this drama/characters.

Overall: 45/50
Overall, this is a drama to watch! The good acting skills, and couple chemistry is awesome and you'll find yourself excited to watch it all.
