Prosecutor Princess: REVIEW

my synopsis: Hye Ri likes to spend money, look great, and wants to be a prosecutor. She dislikes hard work but soon matures~

Unlike any other drama around, this drama does not include a dreaded secondary female role that's sole purpose is to ruin everything you want in the couple. It also, unlike other Korean dramas, isn't a poor girl, who everyone thinks is ugly.
And yes, you have to admit, most main female leads in Korean dramas are poor...

The Story Line: 9/10
This drama is all about Ma Hye Ri being a prosecutor. She's got an awesome memory and passed the bar exam quickly and became a prosecutor at a very young age. She dresses in brand name clothing and if frowned upon for being naive.
The only reason I docked one point, is that fact that the story line gets a little confusing towards the end... it's kinda mysterious.

Characters: 10/10
Hye Ri is very likable, because let's admit it, I'm an airhead. It was easy to understand her. Plus, the men in this are just to likable, it's hard to pick a side and stay on it.

The Romance/ Couple Chemistry: 9.5/10
Couple Chemistry? Ahhh!!! It's so awesome. I think they were actually in love.
-.5 point because the romancey part really sucked... (in the end it was great though.)

Acting Skills: 9/10
Great job. The actors, at some times, seem a little in doubt of the cheesiness but they follow through really well.

Connection: 8.5/10
As always, awesome connection. I couldn't stop watching...even at the very end, I just stared blankly at the TV like "where's the rest?" It was a little hard to get into the drama with the first episode being so confusing, though I ended up loving it.

Overall: 46/50
This is a good drama to watch if you want to get away from the ones that all seem very similar... hmm. If you're sick of poor girls, check this one out!

If you like this one, try: 49 Days or Princess Hours

  2. Hm... I haven't watched Sassy Girl Chun Yang, but I think that it looks pretty good! I will watch it soon.
I'd say that two dramas I absolutely loved were: My Girlfriend is Gumiho, and Mary Stayed Out All Night.
Also, right now I'm watching a drama that is currently new. It's called Heartstrings. I have yet to finish it, but it's okay so far. You can find the latest episodes at dramafever.

  3. oh i see. I will watched Mary Stayed Out All Night this semester break as you recommended! haha. I don't prefer to watch My GF Gumiho cause its too fictional.
The Heartstring for me is bad. I slept two times while watching the first episode. LOL. Maybe those girls are obsessed to watch it just because Yong Hwa, the k-pop idol was there. :P
